About the Company:
Our client, one of the largest Cosmetics Company, seeks a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune and Co-management.
 
About the role:
100% remote, can work from any U.S. City (prefer EST and CST)
  • Expert-level understanding of Windows 10 operating system, to include image management, OSD (operating system deployment), and Modern Endpoint Management/Windows Servicing Model
  • Strong experience with command-line shell and scripting languages, specifically Windows PowerShell including scripting solutions for desktop system automation and management
 
Responsibilities
  • Technical lead responsible for engineering and administering a 30,000+ workstation environment.
  • Provide oversight and direction for engineering and customization of the Windows 10 image
  • Provide technical direction, standards, and best practice for application compatibility assessments and Application Packaging standards
  • Improve the user experience through automation scripting using PowerShell in Windows
  • Ensure all deployed systems and technologies are delivered in a way that ensures the best end user working experience on the desktop
  • Provides technical direction for Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management, Intune Co-management, and hybrid management
  • Perform advanced tier 3 troubleshooting of issues affecting client workstation and related systems
  • Implement desktop technology solutions that ensure consistency and standardization across the enterprise
  • Audit and review application configurations; provide detailed assessments of the current platform to support application packaging and distribution
  • Ensure engineering and operational best practices are met and identify areas of improvement to continually improve service quality
  • Develops the technical requirements, roadmaps, and configurations for Windows operating system platforms and defines and maintains the core application lifecycle
  • Researches, understands, tests and integrates new technology
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and IT management on an ongoing basis to collect feedback to improve the core technology experience
 
Qualification
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune and Co-management
  • Expert-level understanding of Windows 10 operating system, to include image management, OSD (operating system deployment), and Modern Endpoint Management/Windows Servicing Model
  • Strong experience with command-line shell and scripting languages, specifically Windows PowerShell including scripting solutions for desktop system automation and management
  • Experience with Power BI and Desktop Analytics
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager to create packages, applications, deployments, task sequences and report on associated status of those items.
  • Experience working in an outsourced enterprise desktop management environment
  • Experience designing and implementing a range of End-User computing technologies in an enterprise setting.
  • Strong understanding of web browser management with Microsoft Edge and Chrome
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy (GPO) administration
