Job Summary:
This position can be done 100% remote. 

The Integration Architect [IA] will be responsible for the design and development of new or existing systems interfaces. The IA will own technical design decisions that impact engineering teams’ solutions and champion reliability, scalability, maintainability, and security of production-ready software. The IA will also help to identify and solve important customer business problems through collaboration with cross-departmental teams and determine the appropriate use of technology to balance industry best practice with time to market delivery.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Develop and manage domain strategies for all environments (build/test, certification, mock and production)
  • Assist with the design and implementation for CRM, acute-care / post-acute-care, or financial integration projects
  • Adheres to appropriate Project Management standards
  • Provide updates to management on project progress
  • Provides technical support and guidance to other team members as required
  • Provide general system monitoring methods and facilitate troubleshooting training sessions
  • Working knowledge of HL7 interfaces, EDI X12 transactions, FHIR
  • Design technical specifications for HL7 interfaces
  • Create logical, physical, and conceptual system documentation,
  • Create test scripts, and education materials for engineering teams
  • Work with commercial/enterprise customer resources to determined software specifications, hardware requirements and process workflows
Experience:
  • Demonstrable, progressive experience as an SE
  • In-depth knowledge of software development processes, procedures, and overall SDLC. 
Ideally has experience in/with many of the following:
  • Leadership
  • Service-oriented architecture
  • Agile, Scrum, Kanban processes and methodologies
  • B2B/EAI system architecture experience
  • Experience dealing with high volume systems and designing solutions for reliability and performance at scale
  • Experience in designing fault-tolerant solutions
  • Business process workflow design and development experience
  • Application development experience in or any other programming language.
  • Overall project implementation experience and demonstrated experience managing complex tasks
  • Experience creating functional design documents, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, unit testing, and end-end testing methods
  • Experience working with XML, JSON, and other message formats
