Our client, located in mid-town Manhattan, is a boutique private wealth firm.

About the role:
  • Location: Mid-town (hybrid onsite and WFH)
  • This is a temp to perm role.
  • Hourly Rate: $60 to $70 hour. 

The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily support, oversight, and management of on-premise and outsourced, cloud-hosted IT services and initiatives to drive program operations, and enhance Company’s IT infrastructure.

This includes directing all IT operations to meet compliance requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and the development of new technical and software solutions.

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s information technology resources and leading the outsourced IT services responsible for operating and supporting the IT systems. By collaborating with business partners and vendors, the successful candidate will maintain and develop effective, efficient and secure technology systems.

This is a great role for someone who is an experienced IT generalist with focus on EUC (End User Computing) who wishes to stay hands-on but seeks more managerial responsibilities.

Qualifications:
• Strong experience in desktop/technical support and engineering (onsite and remote) with knowledge of networking, server, and cloud computing concepts (Citrix, VDI, AWS, etc.)
• Expertise in supporting a Windows 10/Office 365 desktop, preferably virtualized
• Strong knowledge of communication/collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Meet, etc.)
• Knowledge of Zoom Phone Administration a big plus!
• Five years of RIA, broker/dealer, Investment experience a big plus.
• A minimum of three years of experience in technology project management, business process, process delivery and/or information systems within a tax, and/or advisory firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university.
• Experience with IT development concepts and systems development life cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance IT processes within an organization and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams along with demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and project management skills.
